Your presence is what matters most. At Nottingham Quakers, we believe that everyone should be able to attend Meeting regardless of their financial circumstances. There is never an obligation or expectation to give.

However, if you feel moved to support the life and work of the Meeting, there are several ways to contribute:

  • At the Meeting House: A donation box is located in the meeting room for cash contributions during your visit.
  • Direct Bank Transfer: You can make a one-off donation or set up a regular Standing Order via your banking app or branch:
    • Account Name: Nottingham Meeting Society of Friends

    • Bank: Co-op Bank
  • Wider Giving: We regularly hold special collections and fundraisers for local and international charities that align with our testimonies of Peace, Equality, and Sustainability.

Living Our Values

  • No Barriers: Lack of funds should never be a reason to stay away. Our community is built on mutual support, not membership fees.
  • Simple Living: We use the funds we receive to maintain our historic 1648 legacy, keep our doors open to all, and fund our social justice work.
  • Transparency: If you have questions about how our Meeting is financed or wish to discuss Gift Aid, please speak to someone from Stewardship Committee after Sunday Meeting.

We welcome you just as you are. We look for the Light in everyone.
